I’m Zhu Xuelin, born and raised in China. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Statistics, and I am also an amateur badminton player.
My research lies in applied statistics and machine learning. I am particularly interested in developing interpretable methods for high-dimensional structured data, such as network and tensor data, with applications in finance, medical imaging, and badminton analytics.
Beyond research, I am also involved in badminton as a competitive player, part-time umpire, and occasional coach. I was a member of the Southern University of Science and Technology campus team, where I specialized in men’s doubles.
