I’m Zhu Xuelin, born and raised in China. Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD in statistics, and I’m also an amateur badminton player.
My research focuses on applied statistics, particularly in developing novel approaches for sports analytics, with badminton as my primary application domain.
As a professional researcher in this field, I am also involved in badminton in multiple other capacities - as competitive player, part-time umpire, and occasional coach. I was a member of the Southern University of Science and Technology’s campus team, where I specialized in men’s doubles.
